Deliveries Within the island of Ireland (including Northern Ireland)
All deliveries within Ireland are delivered Free Of Charge for orders over €75.00. There will be a charge of €6.95 charge for orders under €75.00.
Currently we do not take orders online for customers outside the island of Ireland. If you are based outside of the island of Ireland and would like to purchase from us, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with details of what you would like to order and we will get back to you with overseas shipping costs
Where goods are in stock and an order is placed before 1PM, that order will be dispatched that same day. While our courier service operates primarily upon next day delivery within Ireland, sometimes it can take a bit longer so please be patient! Where goods are out of stock, we will endeavor to contact you immediately on receipt of your order, informing you of expected replenishment date for any goods ordered.
For all deliveries, please note that a signature is required by our courier company at the delivery address specified, in order for the goods to be handed over. If you are unable to receive your order at your usual address, please specify an alternative delivery address and arrange for someone to sign for your order on your behalf. If there is no one to sign for your delivery, then the courier company may charge for a second delivery.
HorsePlay must be notified of any breakages or damage during posting and items missing from the original order within 7 days of delivery.
In certain cases, the above stated rates for shipping will not apply, for example, where the items ordered are heavy, oversized or of an unusual shape. Where this occurs, we will make every effort to inform you that it is not possible to ship the order for the cost shown and advise you of the adjusted rate of delivery. At this point you are entitled to cancel the order.
If you wish to return or replace your purchase, we are happy to accept returns subject to the following conditions: that the goods are unused, are not damaged, are in their original packaging and are returned within 14 days of their receipt. Goods that are received after 14-days and are found to be faulty will only be redeemed by a credit note. Goods delivered carriage Free Of Charge will be subject to a carriage charge if returned for refund. We cannot accept returns of special offer items.
If you continue to use a product after finding a fault, it is assumed that you are accepting the goods in their damaged state and we will therefore not accept them as a return.
Refunds will be made on receipt of returned goods and will be credited by the same method as the original payment.
Items are returned at customer’s own expense and it is strongly recommended that you obtain proof of delivery and/or insurance for the items posted, as HorsePlay.ie accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged items. However, if any returned goods are found to be faulty, the cost of postage will be refunded in full.
Please be informed that returned goods will not be accepted unless they are clean and dry, due to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005. Any items not returned to us in this state will be returned at your cost for cleaning before any further action can be taken.
Due to Health and Safety requirements, riding hats and skullcaps are not included in the returns policy and will not be accepted. This does not, however, affect your statutory rights.
In some circumstances, manufacturers may wish to examine the goods for their own records and therefore, replacements may not be sent out until it is deemed that the original goods were defective.
Where goods are returned due to the customer selecting an incorrect size and requiring an exchange for the appropriate size instead of a refund, the goods are returned at the expense of the customer (as stated above) and an additional carriage fee will be incurred by the customer.
Product Available to Order – if any item is not in stock but is available to order, you will be notified by return. Where applicable, ‘In stock’ items will be sent immediately and the balance forwarded at a later date, with no extra cost for delivery.
