Meet Liam Buckley

Liam Buckley (who tells us he is ‘aged’) is a certified BHSAI and HSI level 2 coach.

An extremely knowledgeable individual (and we understand on more topics than just horses and showjumping!), Liam has more the 30 years in the horse business.

Joint owner of Killadoran Stud in Delvin, Co. Westmeath, Liam served as “chef d’équipe” of junior and young rider teams for nine years with both show jumping Ireland and the Equestrian Federation of Ireland, as well as serving two terms as senior selector to Irish show jumping teams.

Liam currently works with many up and coming young showjumping riders in addition to some who are ‘not so young’! Over the coming months Liam will share his knowledge with us in the shape of practical exercises and many expert insights and training tips on how to improve your performance in the showjumping ring.
